Claire Ezekwe
Director, Transactions & Structuring
Claire Ezekwe qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and before joining Apache, she spent eight years as a real estate finance lawyer at an international law firm in the City. During her time in the City, Claire acted for clients including registered providers, developers, asset managers and lenders across the private and public sectors, advising on a range of financing arrangements in respect of both commercial and residential real estate.
Claire is experienced in leading and negotiating complex multi-million-pound finance transactions for corporate structures, incorporating both Shari’ah compliant and conventional debt for both investment and development. She acts as legal and transaction lead on real estate acquisition, disposals and development opportunities and is involved in deal structuring, due diligence and contract negotiation.
Chris Hollidge
Senior Associate Director, Development
Chris Hollidge has over thirteen years’ experience working in the construction industry having trained as a Quantity Surveyor with Davis Langdon (AECOM) prior to moving to become a Project Manager at Buro Four.
At Apache, Chris works closely with our Joint Venture partners on all of our development schemes, as well as liaising with and managing the interests of our lenders and investors associated with these.
Whilst at Buro Four, Chris took a lead role within their residential team, working with a number of high-profile developers delivering a mixture of Build to Rent, private sale and affordable homes across numerous sites in London and the regions. Some of these schemes included extensive master planning and regeneration of previously dilapidated sites.
Ashley Perry – MRICS, MSc
Investment Director
Ashley Perry has over 10 years of experience in real estate consultancy, across UK, Ireland, Spain and Canada. Before joining Apache Capital, Ashley worked for European BTR Consultancy, LIV Consult, since 2018.
Ashley held the position of Director, BTR Consultancy (UK) at LIV Consult with responsibility for consultancy services to clients in Europe with a client base including Private Equity, Local Authorities, and both Public and Private Developers. Ashley’s experience across both single and multifamily strategies helped to secure planning, funding and public support for thousands of rental homes across Europe. Prior to LIV Consult, Ashley worked at JLL in its Project and Development services team where he achieved RICS Chartered status as well as leading multi-disciplinary teams through complex and challenging projects. Ashley is also on the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Residential Council steering committee.
In addition to leading new business for the Apache multifamily platforms, Ashley holds leadership positions at the Association for Rental Living (ARL) as Chair of the Investor & Lender Forum, whilst also chairing the Urban Land Institute (ULI) UK Residential Council.
Ashley is responsible for implementing investment strategies for Build to Rent platforms, bringing forward new investment opportunities and driving the growth of the business.
Anthony Lewis
Operations Director, Present Made
As Operations Director for Present Made, Anthony is responsible for all aspects of setting up the operating platform, mobilisation and day to day management of future sites.
Anthony’s passionate about building things that people want and need- something often forgotten in housing and accommodation. Anthony’s excited about creating memorable experiences and a new lifestyle for Present Made residents with local, social, cultural and environmental sustainability at its heart.
Anthony has more than 15 years’ experience leading operations, projects and staff in serviced apartments co-living & co-working, property management and F & B organisations in the UK, EMEA and Australia. He has a track record in driving sizeable, cross functional teams to improve efficiencies and exceed customer service, engagement and revenues targets.
Most recently, Anthony served as Regional General Manager at The Collective, responsible for managing all portfolio functions within the UK.
Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Business (Property) from The University of South Australia.
Andy Hill – ACA
Director of Multifamily
Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield and is also a qualified accountant completing his ACA qualification at Mazars IN 2014. Prior to joining Apache, Andy was a Vice President in the investment and asset management team at Mansford, a private equity real estate firm where he spent 6 years acquiring and managing direct real estate and asset backed operating companies across the commercial, industrial, student and leisure & hospitality sectors.
At Apache, Andy oversees the firm’s Multifamily housing strategy, assuming lead responsibility for the management of acquisitions into the platform, investment and asset management, refinancings, recapitalisations and exit scenarios. Andy’s remit also includes the expansion of new strategies across the living sector, and to further strengthen Apache’s relationships with investment partners, including existing partners, Harrison Street, NFU Mutual, and KKR.

Alan Penfold
Managing Director, Present Made
Alan Penfold has over 13 years’ experience in real estate property planning and development having delivered numerous large-scale housing and mixed-use developments for three of the UK’s Top 10 Major Housebuilders.
Before joining Apache, Alan worked for the housing and mixed-use developer Crest Nicholson having joined in 2013. Alan held the position of Development Director for the largest region of Crest, successfully managing the Development Team and was responsible for site acquisition, development and planning for the region completing over 600 units per annum over 12-15 outlets. Alan has experience on a wide range of deal structures and has successfully managed joint venture developments with public, private and government authorities.
Alan is responsible for the day to day running of the Present Made business as well as strategic direction and leadership, he also sits on the Apache Executive Committee.
